Auto output on after standby?

I'm experiencing a similar issue where MDX isn't displaying properly after standby. for me this wouldn't be a problem if MDX turned the outputs back to the "on" status.

I have the default status to "on" in order to turn on my amps when my carPC starts up.

When I shut down/ standby, the fusion brain turns off the outputs.

The Fusion brain will only turn the outputs on started from a shut down, not if resumed from standby, is there any way to do this?

Nobody has any ideas?

I think I might be able to use Auto IT to make the outputs turn on after standby, but it seems a bit silly MDX can't trigger an output after an event such as standby...

Sorry I missed this thread.

But MDX should automatically put the outputs back to where they were upon standby

What version of MDX and what version of the FB are you using?

I am using the FB V3 with the open platform drivers because these seem to be much faster than the original Windows only drivers.

Was this function new to V4 boards/ update?

Not to V4 boards, but they were fixed I believe after the driver switch.

I will not be releasing a patch for the old software. If you want to use the old software, then you can download the pre-switch source (I think ~Christmas 2008 time) and modify the power event code to mimick the new code.

Ok, so I've updated my drivers and software. Now it seems to be worse. Outputs do not turn off when entering standby/ hibernate and stay on even when my computer is in standby. This makes a big speaker pop!

The previous drivers detected standby/ hibernate and would turn off the outputs perfectly, it just wouldn't turn the outputs back to "on".

Is there some setting or some update I am meant to do to my fusionconfiguration file? It is the exact same file as I used with the previous drivers.

OK, so I have now used the software on my car PC (with the fusion brain hardware) and my home PC (with a virtual brain). Neither seem to turn off the outputs when entering standby.

Also, when using the previous software, the outputs would turn off when exiting MDX (not even going into standby) but this no longer happens either.

You mentioned I can "modify the power event code" in order to correct the standby issue. Please let me know how to do it and I will try.

Am I the only one having this trouble with the outputs?

Well that is strange indeed. I will do some testing on my end. In the mean time, what hardware do you have? And what brain version?
