Hyundai Santa Fe Steering Wheel Controlls.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me to figure out how to use FusionBrain to get my steering wheel controlls working. I attach the diagramm. I also do not quite understand how to make lets say CentraFuse recognise which buttons are being pressed through FB. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I don't know a lot about FB, but your controls are pretty standard...
Each control push is a different resistance...
There is TONS of info on this in the forum...search

What you need is something like Girder to intercept the inputs, and pass them off as keystrokes...
Then configure those keystrokes in Centrafuse as your hotkeys for whatever you want to control, i.e. volume...

Thanks, I have searched offcourse but would appreciate if someone could if possible explain to me what exactly needs to be done. The question is how do I pass inputs to Girder or whatever, I thought this is for IR solution which I want to avoid. Thanks.

You do NOT need to use Girder, MDX does key presses by itself.

You need to create a voltage divider and send that into an analogue input of the FB. Then setup logic blocks to send keypresses based on the input value.

There is a tutorial here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/fb-d...-controls.html

I am not sure exactly where they are in CF, I don'tuse it. Would be a good question for the CF forums though.

I think there is an advanced settings thing I always hear about, dont know. Sorry.
