Still on target to ship this week. I have tested the temp sensors and relays.

Beta guys:

I have 5 assembled relays available.

You can use the store to order these.

Please do not hog them all. Remember there are 4 beta testers. I only have 5 relays.

I will post once they're gone.

Later tonight I will make a similar post for 6 temperature sensors.

I also have 2 power jack available. I oly have two, so this is really meant for only the beta testers who can't get them on their own. Radioshack only had two, and I bought both.

The jacks are free, but please don't take them if you don't need them. PM me if you do.

5 Temperature sensors are finished and available. I will only have 5, not 6.

I am attaching 5 pictures.

1. Temperature Sensor

2. Board with 5 relays and 5 temperature sensors.

3. Board again

4. Screenshot of our software running datalogging. This screenshot is flat, to show how there is no detectable noise or variation of signal. All the sensors are at the same temperature. Two of the sensors are different from the rest - these are a different model and have different response characteristics. Later tonight they will get hardcoded to read temperature rather than voltage.

5. Screenshot of sensors reacting to heat. Each sensor is reacting differently because I aimed a hairdryer at the pile of sensors, so each is sensing a different temperature.... but it shows how the program plots data. The timescale is adjustable and is about 1 minute total for this screenshot.

Go ahead and order through the store if you are a beta tester and want 1 or 2.

greenman100, you're making me wish I piped up about wanting to be a beta tester, also wishing I was chosen. I dig how well this appears to be coming along man.
When obtaining your header connectors (I/O), did you see 90 degree females?
Male 90's would be preferrable to me but those are kind of soldered on already.

But, imho, if you're puting this in a shiny little black box, 90 deg. headers would be cleaner.

(for more flat installations)

Ruffy is an unknown quantity at this point
I can always solder in 90degree connectors....... (I have a buttload of them)

I just don't care too much for hacking new stuff, if it can be avoided. And who knows, maybe they can find 90 degree header(s) that have the same output configuration, but require the connection points on the PCB to be in different places, etc.

Wouldn't it be easier to hack the connectors on the sensors and outputs to be right angle female connectors, so the pins on the PCB are straight, and the female connectors are right angle. That way no soldering to the board, just some wire chopping.
