Different sets of HVAC controllers... for the 3 major types of HVACs I'm always reading about on here... fully electrical, pressurised/mechanical, and the ones in between.
That is if memory serves me correctly

yup great idea and not bad to implement

The trouble there is that every car model is different.
We can sell things like relays and temperature sensors, but it will be up to the individual person to fit them to his/her car

Yes, this much I know, Iv read all of the resent posts on it but you could still throw together a kit that could get someone started.

I can do this, they'll cost about $12 each to you guys.
question though
how much is enough? 25A? 50A? I can go up to 200A but am skeptical of moving that much current through a sensor, hello fire.

Why not offer options? 25, 50, 100, 150, 200

Well, two reasons.
First of all, anything in small quantities is not cheap.
Second of all, I am just skeptical about putting my name on a product that flows 200A.
Albert Einstein said it best:
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.

That would be something I would buy... but $30, is it really that complicated?

Very true... I would like a 200A one... maybe 150 would be fine but I could see how that would be bad for someone who doesn't know what they are doing... I would, in that light, offer 25A and 50A version. Perhaps leaving the 200A ones to us beta testers

it just costs a lot for the sensor... and then it has to be assembled. I'm not sure why it's so much, probably low demand

Hmmm... who knows. I know that I would get it and in an environment like a car that kind of sensor would be really useful, even more so in a boatputer

there are very few single things in a car that will be more than 50 amps, & the few things that would be over 50 amps are not practical to want to monitor anyway, so I think a 25 & a 50A would do the trick...
got another possibility, distance sensors, that would also be pretty cool, if you could have them at front & rear of the car, & then skin a display to show the distance graphicly....

Two options:
4-30 inches
or
8-60 inches
