Gee...now one song comes to mind...do you live in a blue house with blue windows.....LOL You know here I'm going with this don't you...
My findings on the port numbers for the Analog inputs, starting left to right, power/usb pointing away from you.
Pin - Port
1 - 0 (oppsite of board markings w/ #1)
2 - 1
3 - 3
4 - 2
5 - 5
6 - 4
7 - 7
8 - 6
9 - 8 (Oppsite of board markings w/ #9)
10 - 9
Two things noticed:
1. port#0 does not respond to the volume or temp on my board
2. Adding jumpers to all other ports 100% fixed the prob. Maybe see if you could add a sm bag of these for future purches also for ppl that dont have any extras laying around...or they can just co to a comp store and get some ~$2-3.

the port 0 / port misnumbering are firmware issues. We can fix these with a new flash of your PIC.

When you guys have the chance, could you create a doc that lists not only the skin tags (port, textvisible, etc) but also all the valid settings? For instance, I know that VOLTAGE and POTENTIOMETER are available settings for #TYPTE# on the inputs, but what else?
I know you've got plenty of other issues that are more important right now, so consider this just a request that you add detailed documentation to your to-do list.
Seems like your manufacturer really screwed up the boards. Hope you're going to scream at them. The least they can do is give you the next, corrected batch, for free. Considering that they couldn't even follow the specs you gave them.

The only thing the manufacturer screwed up was the accelerometers, to be honest. The Digital outputs and analog inputs were our fault. Luckily, the Analog inputs can be fixed in firmware.
Preliminary software documentation is here:

Yeah I take responsibility for the digital outputs and analogue inputs being in a screwy order. I just didnt catch it in the layout. The analogues will be fixed in firmware. The digital outputs will be fixed hopefully through a little board that can be plugged into the driver sockets (the 2 smaller black chips) and does a switcheroo with the current pins and puts them back to normal.
So it will be perfect very soon.

What exactly is req to run the software, b/c I have just tried running it on the car pc and I get and application error. Runs fine on my desktop and at work after I installed the drivers board or no board attatched...
Drivers install fine as I can see it in the device manager.

You need to have .NET 2.0 or above on the computer for the software to even initialize.
If you have that, make sure you then have 2 dll's in the program folder. Interop.SpeechLib.dll and mpusbapi.dll. There may be a 3rd, FusionCOM.dll, but it is not required.
I think the biggest would be if you dont have .NET 2.0 installed. What service pack are you running? Have you done any window's updates?

You can download .NET by itself without doing the windows update. Its self contained as far as I know... Ill find a link and post it.
EDIT: Here you go: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Believe me it is on the list!
Also I am working to get all the software documented. I have been switching things around quite a bit as well, and this next version will more than likely NOT WORK with current skins. The outputs are the same, as well as dead images and other buttons, but the analogues are relatively different. I am making it all forumla based now instead of string type based. So for instance right now if you set #TYPE# to ACCELEROMETER or to TEMPERATURE, it will do the math for you. Well the new version you can set it to "I R THE 1773 KING" and then insert the appropriate formula and it wont care. The 2 that will stay are VOLTAGE and POTENTIOMETER because the pot is entirely different. Well I shouldnt say that. I am thinking of making that dynamic too.
Anyways, that is why there is no current software release, because I am mucking it all around right now. At present it doesnt even compile. I hope to clear that by the time I go to bed. I have spent about 40 hours now on both changing these analogue inputs as well as my uber secret, yet not so secret sister program.
If I drank hot drinks, I would be this guy:

I just made up a skin for a friend that bought a board and how do you get rid of the Menu/Title bar on the top when you have the program running? Thanks

This will be added in the next software release.
