Edit: And I'm not sure how to access the debug console in FCC. Open something in VS?
The skin designer (1.9b) and all above works with no Brain attached. Just do like normal, click the "+" to add a brain, it will tell you none found, then pop up a box. Sice nothing is connected the main area in the popup will be blank. Click the add manual button (bottom left) and enter the VID/PID/IID you want, (or just use default and change once the brain is actually connected). Then it will all work.
And to access the debug console in the program, it is done while the program is running. Click about 1px to 3px from the very top of the application. Then within a few seconds, hold down Control, Shift, and the Alt key on the left side of the keyboard. While holding all 3 down, type in D E B U G and a debug window will popup.

Ok I got to that point before, I didn't realize I had to select that brain once it appeared and push, 'send back selected brain'. I'm off and rolling now, and you have some more stuff for your documentation.

Ok, here is the beginnings of Fusion Control Centre Uber Edition: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/soft...ml#post1144574
I need people to start making skins and reporting back on what is happening if you get errors.

Is it within the current capabilities of the software to have a timer that runs for about 10 minutes, then based on the time in milliseconds, trigger about 300 events during that time? I want to have a start button, that starts the timer, then the events all happen in the order and time that I defined them.

Hmm...what are you planning? Sounds interesting (and complicated).

I would bet that he is working on a Rube Goldberg machine. He is in West Lafayette, IN so my money is on that he is a Purdue student. I graduated from Purdue as well!!
I always thought that the RG machines were supposed to be all mechanically activated stuff.

I originally posted it here, but I decided to start it's own thread because I don't want to clog this thread up with stuff about my project. See here for what I want to do.

hey 2k1Toaster, The links on your flash header in your webpage dont work in firefox. just letting you know.
Since here seems to be the place, How is the development coming on the Street Deck Addon? Anyone doing any work on HVAC controls. I was thinking touch sliders for fan and temp control, snap to slider for blower selection, and buttons for others. I have an RSX and would love this feature as I plan to put gauges in place of the old HVAC controls. I am pretty useless as far as the programming but can do the electrical digging in vehicles.

The top-header links work for me in firefox(2.0.0.11). However, on a few pages the new schwag pic comes up as a broken link.
There's a thread for new website errors here, but I'd thought I'd reply here so you'll likely see it.
I'm working on HVAC controls, check out the modernity thread and my Automatic AC controls thread
In case you found this thread through a search, there is a whole subforum for the Brain to thumb through here.

Just to let you know as well, it works in FireFox 1.5 as well.
The flash uses "unsafe" linking so for instance IE blocks it until you click it, but who cares about IE. So if your security settings or something are high, then it could block it.

A great product indeed. It is especially interesting if we can use it in Linux environment for frontend that we are currently developing (which as well supports commercial and RoadRunner skinning). Is there any developer documentation available (I guess source code on windows is open), is there are any plans for linux kernel support? Thanks.

I wont be doing any linux support myself, but you are welcome to port it or whatever you want. You can use the dlls, the drivers, whatever you need. I am focusing on XP and Vista though.
