how is this different than the one that comes with roadrunner...isnt that gamma control too?

Basically if the program after resume from hibernation, it doesn't seem to check what time of day it is. It's only if I manually change the time from AM to PM or the other way around, is when the program detects time changes and adjusts the brightness accordingly.

More features than the one in Road Runner. It can automatically calculate the proper time to switch skins, or you can override it with your own custom times. Plus it switches skins for FreeDrive.

Did you use the DirectX DirectDraw API's to adjust the screen settings? I'm about to create an tool myself for adjusting gamma of the screen, but based on measured resistance of an LDR instead of the daytime.

If you send me the LDR module, then you'll get support in GammaControl
