Thumbs down bad things happen in threes

I was on my way to a party at my friends house when I noticed the lighting in my car was all messed up. it is red but half of it turned yellow and the other half orange.

okay, no biggie, right?

Then I spilled catsup all down the front of my shirt. awesome. I turned around to go home.

my car pc starts acting funny. screen starts flashing, sound is a bit garbled. I hear a pop, everything goes blank and I smell fried electronics coming from my mac mini.

got home, change my shirt, and confirmed the mini is indeed fried. looked like my amp was effected too. I've been too scared to check the screen but I fear the worst.

so I'm guessing usb devices. my usb ports are not independently powered and I'm thinking something got overloaded. what do you guys think?

I'm back at the party now, too ****ed to have any fun...
