Trouble playing dvd

The picture from my dvd gets distorted when i play a movie.
ex. http://w1.467.telia.com/~u46704767/P8270030.jpg

This is my hardware.
Dansai standalone dvd player (only the dvd "controller card")
This powersupply (mk2.5) http://sproggy.mp3car.com/psu.html
Teac dv-28e (slimline)
In-dash 5.6" display from dscustoms.

The problem is, when i hock up the dvd player from the dansai (standard 5 1/4" dvd) the picture is perfect.
But when i use the teac it gets like the picture above.
Iīve tired with another teac drive so itīs not broken.

Any suggestions.

/Jerry

You might want to tell us your mobo, cpu, and video card... since those are the things that are important in this question

mp3car system is currently FUBAR and finances do not allow for a correction of that situation
Real computer hackers use a rotary cutting tool on their motherboard.

Hi!

I also built the psu Mk2.5.
But now I wanted to know, how much A it supplies at 12V.
The Problem is, that I can't find the web address where I found the circuit.
Does he have a new website?

Greetings from Austria,
Bernhard
