Motherboard capable of 800x480

Hey guys. Ive just got a lilliput 629 7" touchscreen montior moulded into my centre console. So changing screens isnt a possibility!

I could really do with some help finding out which motherboards will support this awkward resolution

The only one i know of is the VIA EPIA SP130000, which will do it with a hacked bios.

I also know i could buy a pci graphics card, but id much rather buy a motherboard that has it as a default.

By the way, ive searched lots

A lilliput 629 will do 1024x768, so I don't know why you are worried about running 800x480. Most of the software around these days can be skinned to suit the resolution of your screen.

Most motherboards with integrated video will do 800x480 with updated BIOS'. But I'm speaking from a non-nano point of view here, as most mobo's i've worked with have been micro atx. My asus A8V-VM worked perfect after a BIOS update.

The Via EPIA series of motherboards use S3 Unichrome graphics, which can not output 800x480. That series of motherboards are popular for vehicle computers because of their small size and low power consumption.
