Thumbs up Liantec

I had to email the sales rep for the US at Liantec. I'm ordering two (2) of the 6965 board with expresscard daughterboards next week. We'll see how it turns out. Hope it doesn't take a million yrs to arrive from Taiwan....

UPDATE: I actually had to hold off til maybe first week of Feb cause of holiday shopping.

That does look like a nice MB to use but this thread is for mini-ITX MBs not Micro-ATX.

Agreed. I was just researching for a decent Socket P mATX mobile-on-desktop board, and found that they're mostly Mini-ITX these days, and this thread has a wealth of info!

I'm glad google brought me back here, as it's been a few years since I visited the site often (around 2004). It was definitely a pleasant surprise to see C2D on Mini-ITX size boards, especially since I was used to seeing VIA C3 stuff on that size back then.

i've found a site which tested couple of boards:
http://www.epiacenter.de/modules.php...id=233&page=10

why the hell is C7 processor so good compared to core duo on J9F2-extreme board? (when you look at the HD playback)
or am i missing something as i can't understand German?

i thought i'd go for J9F2, but after seeing the charts, i started to look for a better board :|

When I read this I thought "crap"! I just bought a J9F2 and a nifty c2d chip to go with it too.

Then I thought, "self, this cant be right" so I looked at it again.

The J9F2, is the #1 board on almost everything there. It is CPU utilization. so maxed out at 100, means the CPU is 100% taxed compared to the J9F2's 30% at 1080i.

And I am pretty sure this entire paragraph is giving the "Jetway Main Board" high praise for not even flinching with a T7200 no matter what they did to it:

cool, thanks
that explains everything indeed
i thought i need to go through shtloads of motherboards now to find the best one
they all have nice names as well - something like FADJ8734aSDASD/&/ASD
