How to eliminate noise in audio

Hi,
does anyone know how to eliminate the noise on speakers ( only on aux in) which becomes higher when motor turns faster ?

its not very loud and you hear it only in not very loud parts of songs but its very annoying!

Battery => inverter=>normal atx psu=>pc
SB64 => lineout => Radio Aux input

I find that once I made sure every part of my system was grounded my noise dropped to undetectable.

What do you mean with grounded ?

can I ground those- If yes were :

- Inverter and via inverter ATX PSU?
- GND from Mainboard ?

Is ther no risk of short circuit ??
is Mainboard not already grounded via Aux cable and inverter via his GND connection to battery ?

Radio is grounded because has direct GND connection to battery

that noise that you are hearing when your engine revs higher is alternator noise. They sell them at any car store really.. most any audio place will have them too. They go inbetween your battery and inverter.

ground the ATX PSU and the negative lead from the inverter to a point in the rear of your car (bare metal) . In my setup I have all components grounded to the same point in the boot/rear hatch of my swift, works a treat....

the motherboard will be grounded when u ground the ATX PSU, and if your running the inverter ground/negative lead right back to the car battery, I would suggest you change that to ground it as close at possible to the car....... keeping grounding leads as short as possible is a good idea (that includes amps too)
