Jetway Onboard Video Problem

Hi Gang,

After much reading and purchasing product from around the globe to build my in car pc....I have finnally completed. The intent was for me to have a pc in the rear of the 4wd and have two screens (a) touchscreen up front (b) 15.4" flip down in the rear.

I managed with the help of the information on this forum to get it all together and I have the following working:

movies
music
GPS
internet
rear view camera
TV
etc.....

I wanted to have the touchscreen driven off the motherboard video card (vga)and the rear screen off the second video card (PCI) & RCA. This way I used ultramon to start a movie in the front screen and drag it to the rear leaving the back seat passengers to view the movie and allowing me control from the front without viewing the movie. It also allowed me to carry on using gps in the front etc.

This all worked fine for some hours but alas I now have a problem which has me perplexed.....the onboard video on the Jetway board has ceased and refuses to output. I have checked all that I can think of and have switched the front screen to the pci video card and it still works.

My setup is below and any ideas would be great..

a.) Jetway Hybrid J7F2WE1G5D Mini-ITX Motherboard w/ VIA C7 1.5G CPU
b.) M2-ATX 6-24v 160w Intelligent DC-DC Car PC Power Supply
c.) Tall PCI Riser Adapter folds Over Motherboard
d.) 1GB DDR2 Type Memory (to suit the above motherboard)
e.) Jetway Hybrid PCMCIA & CF Reader Module
f.) 80 gig Samsung Hard Drive
g.) Radeon 9250 Video Card (PCI)
h.) DVD/CD Burner Slimline Drive
i.) PC Small Form Factor Case
j.) Additional Fans

I was also using some thinner VGA extension cables to support the front screen and wonder if these caused an overload on the onboard video card and hence my problem. I have now gone with a high quaility coaxial based VGA extension cable.

It also appear in the display properties of the onboard video that pixels appear as -1 x-1 with no adjustment. Are the video drivers corrupt?

Any help would be appreciated. By the way I am in Sydney, Australia.

Regards

Stuart M.
