Is it my touch screen or my M10K?

OK well for the past month or so I have been having a problem with my touch screen (Xenarc 700tsv). The usb end of the touchscreen keeps coming in and out. When i start the pc I have to wait a couple mins before the usb kicks in and i can start "touching". And while the pc is on the usb will disconnect and reconnect and it is just a pain because it just keeps loosing connection almost constantly. I tried updating my usb drivers but that didn't help, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the touchscreen drivers. Whenever the touchscreen goes out and comes back you hear the Windows XP sound of the USB connect/disconnect. Now a couple of days ago I unplugged my USB jump drive out of my usb hub, then i plugged it back in some hours later and it started to keep disconnecting and reconnecting. BUT it has completely stopped disconnecting now, so it is fine now. I have my gps receiver connected via usb and that doesnt at all ever disconnect. Maybe the port on the M10k is going bad because I have the touchscreen connected directly to the m10k, but i also noticed that 1/2 ports on the m10k is not working so i have not used that other port.

It is really annoying and i am trying to figure this out. I should really take the touchscreen inside and bench test it inside. I am thinking about upgrading my car pc anyway to a via EN150000 a1gb or ram....
