He may want an FM card for several reasons. When I first got into mobile A/V 8 years ago, SONY was the only company that has all the AV stuff from Japan. I bought a TV tuner for my CDXU8000. When I got it all installed, the video output on the TV tuner also showed FM station channel, name, CD name, track time, CD number, clock. It was really cool because all head unit infos were shown in the video monitor. Since no one can figure out how to import the head unit displays (CD text, radio station) into the computer, a PCI FM tuner card will display all the radio infos in the computer. Or maybe he has a big display that he molded into his dash where his radio used to be. Therefore he has no head unit at all. Which he uses the computer as delicated head unit. Or maybe he wants FM for his computer just for the sake of having it. I have the Clifford AdvanGard 4 alarm with SmartWindows 4 just for the sake of having my computer control, monitor and program my alarm even though I hate Clifford alarms.

Yes I am not running a head unit in my set up but still like some of the radio talk shows (O+A if they ever get back on the air). So it would be nice to be able to have a video card with the tv tuner and the fm tuner built right in so it takes up less space. Still looking for any input that might be helpful. Thanks

Don't know if it's manufactured in USA but Hauppauge does such cards. ( www.hauppauge.com) I don't know if you have RDS system in the US but Hauppauge doesn't have such. If you want RDS you have to buy a KC-One card.
But all those crds only have TV ( PAL / NTSC / SECAM ) and FM Radio - NO AM!!
But why don't buy a little pocket receiver ? thy are much better if you connect them to an external antenna and you could integrate them into DIN -Box faceplate if you will do one ? A little conenction to line in of pc and its done :-)

Regards

Felix

This looks like it had a coaxle video output but I need a digital video out to hook up to my DS Customs LCD. Is there any way to control the stations throught a program?

the coaxial connection is for your tv antenna. it has an s-video output cable that also has an rca plug for video and another for audio.
