2.5" SATA drive to 3.5" SATA?

does such an adapter exist? what is it called? I've been unable to locate one that doesn't end up being a SATA to USB adapter.

Basically I would like to use a 2.5" SATA drive that I have already and plug it into my mini-itx mobo via the SATA connector.

I'd use a SATA to IDE converter but I'd like to minimize the cables to improve air flow in my DIY carPC case. SATA cables are nice and small unlike an ide cable.

Sata connectors are the same 7 pin thick flat cables regardless of whether you are using it with a 2.5", 3.5", or an optical drive. The standard power connector is the same 15 pin cable for each as well. Your mobo won't care what size the drive is.

so I should be able to find a connector/cable to connect it? is it the same cable then? I haven't tried it yet as I wasn't sure.

my SATA cables, from my 3.5" drives, are fairly thin and flat.
