And what you often read on a display in the car is not the actual voltage (Im not the guru, but one who is explained in detail that the display often shows what the charging system wants (affected by laod), and that the only way to get what is actually there is to measure it with a meter at the alternator.
And most things you put in the car, made for the car, will work on a wide range of voltage. Dont sweat it.
