motherboard help - is it good enough?

hi guys, i was just wondering if i could get some help from someone in the know..

i want to make a new carpc enclosuer, to fit into the 1-DIN radio slot in my mk2 VW Golf.

im really tempted to buy this motherboard, but not sure it it'll be good enough to run windows (98 to xp, dont mind) and run centrafuse playing DIV-X video's without jumping/skipping?

this is the motherboard: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=016

its a WAFER-E669E2VR-400

if not could you sugest a different motherboard thats no bigger?

i want this one as it has a bootable Compact Flash. so i can install the OS on there and have quick start up times, and the fact its so small will make it alot easyer to fit in the 1-DIN radio slot.

cheers all.

Will.

I don't know much about that specific board, but I used to use a PII-400 with 256 megs to play my music and DivX movies on my TV at home. Boot and navigation was a bit slow, but the movies were smooth. So yeah, those tasks don't really need that much power.

after some research ive decided i'll be getting this board. but it's power'd by a 4pin molex connector. but what power surply can i use thats small and doesnt need the usual 20 or 24pin motherboard power connector to be used?

and two other questions, i'll be using perspex to make the case, should i be worried about static?

and does anyone know where i can get some deacent anti-vibration screw/mounts for the HD and motherboard?

your flash card is only 512 mb. last time i put an operating system on it was way more than 512. id check to see if its big enough to fit your os before buying.
