slot loaded panasonic dvd player

okay so i picked up the slot loaded dvd player off ebay, and i bought the usb enclosure from the mp3store, now on the mp3store they offer some additional cable for the slot loaded dvd player, is that something i absolutely have to have to connect it with the usb enclosure or should i allready have everything i need?

Since you have an USB enclosure you only need USB extension cable if you plan to put in somewhere far from your PC.

Watch out though DVD is considered as high bandwidth USB device, so make sure you test it first with the cable you are going to use first before installing it. 10 feet USB cable will have data loss, I learned it the hard way. If movie is skipping you might need an extra 5V for the enclosure.
