How do you turn off scan disk?

Scan disk will load everytime I restart the computer.
I am running windows 98, is there a way to turn this off?

How about Win95? How do I disable scandisk and such after improper shut down when running Win95?

Thanks!

Download TweakUI for Windows 95. Right click on TweakUI.inf and select install. Go to the control panel and double click the TweakUI icon. Go to the tab labeled "Boot." There should be a dropdown box labeled "Autorun Scandisk." Select "Never" and hit OK. Scandisk should no longer run.
