More USB Devices = Longer time to resume from hibernation?

Has anyone else noticed this? Do more USB devices increase the time to resume from hibernation? I just added a USB Wifi Dongle and my resume times have increased by ~3 seconds. Not much, but it would still be nice to be able to cut those times as much as possible. I have another USB Wifi dongle which does not seem to noticeably affect my resume times (didnt actually time that one), but I get worse reception with that dongle.

Any ideas on what can be done?

I think it does. My PC was having major issues and I had to disconnect USB devices to repair something. To my surprise the PC booted faster and came out of hibernation faster. Although it may just be a coincidence.

I have no idea what can be done, but hopefully someone else can shed some light, especially since my setup has 17 USB devices connected to it.

You will probably spend AT LEAST 2x what you initially budget for your CarPC Project!

It should take longer in theory because it has to wait for a response from the hardware as it reinitializes. How long that takes in the real world depends on the hardware...it could only be microseconds or it could be 30 seconds...
