I just got my voom-pc2 case and i am thinking about mounting it upside down, is that bad for the motherboard? I read a thread about it a while while back, but cant find it anymore.
Honestly, I don't think it would be an issue.
The biggest concern I'd think would be the CPU cooler coming loose. If it's securely mounted, then that wouldn't be an issue.
With motherboards that require a gooldy amount of cooling and a larger HSF, I wouldn't suggest it. With anything that you'd put in a Voom case, I think it would be OK.
Providing everything is securely mounted and there is proper cooling/ventilation then you should be fine. Keep in mind that heat rises so if you have poor ventilation you could be in trouble.
Well i just got done with installing. It look so good when upside down, but i did not want to take any risk with it ,so i cut lot of the glove to make it fit flat. It looks pretty good.
