I don't think it will be able to boot into BIOS, but I will try.

I just tried it on my work computer, but it uses F2 to get into BIOS, and we already know that there are no function keys (as far as I know). But I did manage to crash my computer and the keyboard did work in the 'select boot' menu when it comes back and asks if you want safe mode, boot normally, last known config etc.... so it might work before the OS is loaded.

In any case, I have a roll away flexible USB keyboard stored in my car for BIOS adjustments when needed. It plugs into the PS/2 port with an adapater and works fine in the BIOS.

I have issues with bluetooth on my carPC. It never seems to want to work right. Can the diNovo also use wireless USB?

Nope BT only.... but the included Logitech dongle should work perfectly in your set up... I believe it is adirect link type of dongle....pretty fail safe...
