Taking apart VoomPC 2 enclosure.

Hi All, has anyone taken apart one of the Stage3 carputers form mp3car ? I want to get into mine so i can power my touch screen off it, etc.

I took off the front and rear panels ok, and it looks as though the motherboard etc should slide out, however the drives are still connected etc, and I didn't want to break anything in my brand new PC!

Any help / pics are much appreciated.

Tommy.

Prise off plastic front panel and then remove perimeter screws holding metal front plate with case fans mounted to it. You don't have to remove 2 X screws in centre of panel which secures front panel to CD/HD base (my pic shows removed). Slide base of case (MB is screwed to it) carefully forward together with rear IO panel and together with sliding out CD / HD base out of its side slots at the top. Be carefull of things hanging up like power supply, fan connectors, etc particularly any connected to rear body (not rear IO) like power which will stop case base sliding forward.

Pictures here are not of mp3car computer but my own build.
