Cpu Usage Varying....help??

Plus if the GPS in running as well with lower spec pcs can take up that. Mine runs @ 10-30% on full load. With GPS 60-90% usage when routing with GPS.

I could use some help from anyone who might the answer. When my carpc's CPU gets up around 40 to 60 %, its starts pausing and my music skips. I use the pc exclusively for music, and gps. although I dont use the gps with maps yet. The CPU % keeps bouncing back and forth anywhere from about 20% up to 100%. It will freeze obviously at 100. Is there some services or other programs running that Im unaware of ? Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Provide some system specs (cpu, mem, os, mobo etc).

If its searching for wireless networks your CPU usage will fluctuate a lot.
