Thanks!

How can they be any more cpu intensive than the onboard sound?

You should be fine on an m1000 as far as I know those little buggers actually do pretty well, but yes USB DAC's use some resources of the cpu- probably not much more than the software bloated soundcards out there today.

Ya know I'm not sure if Brent is going to email out tracking numbers for the individual orders or not, I don't believe so anyways... he said transit time from australia should be about 1 week.

I'm not sure what you mean by more will be made, but the second batch will be built and shipped as soon as possible. Are you talking about another group buy?

OK...Then may be it helps to publish which orders are being shipped or already shipped on Monday/Tuesday. That way we can get an idea on when to expect the box.

Check the date you ordered, if it was on or before 6/17 then you were one of the first 14 orders and it was shipped out with the first batch either today or yeaterday so you should be getting it in about a week or so, give or take. If not the next batch is under construction and should be shipping pretty soon as well. Brents intentions were to have ALL the remaining orders done and shipped in batch 2. We have to give him a little time- his quality control is outstanding so a lot of testing goes into each unit after assembly.

I don't know if tracking numbers can be given since they are out of Australia and may be using a different carrier when they hit the states (or wherever they are going). If it is still super important to you I can see if Brent can manage to email us out something individually, just let me know.

Thanks guys!

Joey

Another group buy or having the units sold through the mp3car store. Either would work for me as I am still planning my build.

There more than likely not be another group buy- definately not for a while. Visit Brent's website and purchase direct at hippohifi.com. The standard Bloat is an amazing piece of equipment and nothing else really compares to it priced at $199. Plus you can pick any upgrades/accesories you want with it!

Beware to the first person who gets theirs, you will be lynched by those who haven't got them yet!
