Even all people in the first batch have not received the bloats yet. Atleast I havent.

If the previous communication that the first batch shipment has happened on 21st/22nd July is correct, then the shipping is taking way too long than normal and the absense of tracking information is only making it worse.

Reporting receipt of my order...Canada Post just delivered the Bloat DAC I ordered .

There was an additional charge of $9.72 and $5.00 as GST and Handling Fee levied by the Canada Border Services Agency...This is normal and reasonable for an item valued $194 CAD.

Now... need to find some time to test the new toy....

Thanks Brent and Joey.

Any other US customers starting to feel alittle uneasy about the shipment. Maybe some big hold up in customs?!?!

It is possibly on customs hold...Atleast mine was...The date stamps says that it landed on Canadian soil on 30th July, but I received it only on 7th August. Such large delays are quite unusual though...

Whoa! Sorry guys! I haven't been getting email alerts for this thread. Do subscriptions expire?? Anyways sorry to leave you hanging. Brent updated me and said all but a handful of the last few units ordered are shipping as we speak and the last couple will ship as soon as he completes them next week. As for the original shipment, please inform me via email if you are POSITIVE you were in the first shipment and still have not received yours. Please email me, titanium299@yahoo.com and I will look into it.

I'm glad to hear that everyone likes it so far!

Woo hoo! Received my Bloat today! Will be testing it out tonight.

I'm pretty sure I was in the 2nd or last batch to go out, however since I live in the same city as Brent (actually, less than a few km's away), I probably got mine sooner than most.

Well, I did some testing with my Bloat tonight and the sound quality really is superb!! It definitely sounds better than the GigaPort AG I was using previously.

I am however having a problem getting volume control to work with Centrafuse (2.0 Final) on Vista. Currently if I try to play music through Centrafuse, it comes out at max. volume and the volume control has no effect The only way I found to playback audio with volume control is through say Windows Media Player or Foobar2000, etc.

I have noticed that the "Speakers" volume control on the Vista mixer has no effect on the Bloats volume (which is what Centrafuse is adjusting). I have played with the "Use PRE as Master" setting within Centrafuse, but it has no effect. Vista doesn't appear to have a "Wave" channel like XP.

Has anyone got their Bloat working with Centrafuse on Vista, or can offer some suggestions?

Cheers,
Steve

PS. A big "Thank You" to amapro704 for organising the bulk buy.
