PC constantly restarts itself. help

ok, i turn on the ignition and up pops the intel screen, next comes the screen saying your pc didn't shut down properly, what do you want to do:
safe mode
safe mode networking
safe mode command prompt

or

start windows normally

regardless of which one i choose the pc reboots back to the intel screen and shows me this screen again. i cant get any further! help me please

reinstall windows is the only way unless you want to mess with the recovery console. One of your boot files is throwing a fatal error, so it reboots.

i have tried re-installing windows on to 3 different hard drives, surely it cant be that?

unplug everything that you dont need then restart the computer, it might be hardware

If you have been using the same CD, are you sure it is not a pirated copy? Could have corrupt files.

Easy way to test hardware, boot it up and get into the BIOS settings. Leave it overnight. If it is stil in BIOS settings when you wake up, it is your windows install.
