I ordered one of these recently, unfortunately I didn't read the fine print. It only works with a certain series of power supplies... Gigibyte's Odin GT iirc.
Great idea if it would work. I did give a try, just in case, in my test set-up with another make of pc power supply. Didn't do a thing. Not saying there isn't a way to hack it, but I can't see making it work with any old power supply, let alone a car pc power supply.
