Urgent!! Blue boxes all over my Lilliput! Help!!!
I fired up the 8" lilli for the first time in awhile, and there is a pattern of blue boxes ALL over top of the display!
I changed the vid card driver, and while the screen was flickering off and on, the display actually looked fine. But after the install finished, same thing...
Anyone know how to fix it?

Fired up for the first time in a while?
Meaning it's been used before right?
And it worked fine then?
Sorta looks like a screen protector film hahaha but Im sure thats not it

Yeah, worked fine before...before I opened it up.
Maybe something to do with Windows not recognizing it properly?
During POST, the screen is fine. It must have something to do with the Windows driver or settings...

All cables and ribbons seem to be fine...
When I switch to 16 bit colour, the squares go bigger, and the colour of them changes to brown! WTF!!!
I change the res to 1024X768, and the boxes turn to solid, verticle bars...

Try changine the refresh rate in your display properties.
If it's not the cables, it coudl be a sync issue.

try to reconnect them, this problem is generated somewhere in the digital side of the LCD circuits...

Tried different refresh rates...56Hz all the way up to 75Hz. No change...
Resetting the settings makes no difference either...
I'm actually doing a clean Windows install on it, and whatever resolution/refresh Windows uses during setup, it's
much better, but still visible if you look hard enough.
It looks like the boxes are thinned and stretched out horizontally...but still visible.
I double checked all the connections. Every thing seems fine and undisturbed...

I've had some of them disconnected a few times...
I'll try cleaning them I guess.
Is this something anyone else has experienced before??
No boxes visible in BIOS setup (then again, screen is blue too), but I don't think they are visible on the POST screen and splash screen...
Actually, the only ribbon I've disconnected was to the button panel...but I'll clean 'em all.

Well, I feel like bit of a newb now...
I tried the touch screen on my main PC and low-and-behold, the image is perfectly fine...
It's obviously my videocard in the carPC. Duh!!
Now to check the slot on it...
