Thanks..
Aye Aye to both (S3 and M2-atx).
Last time I measured, it was less than 50mA in S3 sleep.

In the link it says OPTIONAL EXTRA about the cable,
and when I bought the M2-ATX from CarTFT I didn't get that cable along. Had to make it myself from som old PSU cables....works a charm.

From the second post in your link, I would guess 667.
But I could be wrong though so check the post.

So this is the pinout for the composite signal I used (view of the back panel):

Hi dschu,
Where did you get a s-video cable with the correct pin-out to extract the composite signal?

I just bought this board for the release of CF3, and I can tell you that after installing Win7 that the intel driver package supports multi-monitor. I reformatted as I like the hibernation and startup time better compared to Win7, and lo and behold, the freaking xp driver only does clone... poop!
I'm giong to rebuild again tonight and try not installing the intel driver as was stated previous in this thread. One question though, for those that have it working in XP, what are your video configuration settings in the BIOS?

multi-monitor With Win 7 is good to hear. I installed Win 7 a couple weeks ago, had everything setup, did one last restart and the board stuck like I had had issues with in the beginning (fan turns on when the power supply turns on and that is it). Just got an RMA from Intell.

Corrupted Bios ?
Hey guys. I have a problem with my board. when i turn it on the fan spins and keeps spining and the green light on the motherboard light up butt nothing comes on the display. After searching on internet i found out that maybe the bios is corrupted due to some reasons. I followed the steps to recover corrupted bios with a usb and a .bio file without any success.
I want to ask you guys if someone can help me.
Thanks

Only issue I am having now is that the VGA drops for a second and everything moves to the lower monitor (s-video) then switches back. It gets pretty annoying to be honest. It might be my vga splitter (run a second monitor on a dj stand for car shows), so I am going to run it straight to the monitor and see what happens.

It is 1 of 2 things and neither one is a corrupt BIOS.
#1 you don't have the P4 connected to the board to provide power to the CPU
#2 If you are using the P4 you have a bad board. We have gone through a ton of these boards with a relatively low failure rate. However the top failure is exactly what you are describing. I have no idea what the weak point on the board, but there is something in the design that when it fails the video goes out but the green light comes on and fans still spin.

I agree regarding the P4 connection. Make sure that you have it connected..silly but simple.

Yes, P4 was connected. It went from running - shut down - attempted restart and no more working. Tried different PSU, pulling memory. I let it sit with the battery out and disconnected from the power supply for a week as that had worked once in the past, but no dice this time. Intel didn't give me any flack over it. I talked to 'em once and they said try resetting the BIOS and if that didn't work get back with them and they would get me a new one.

My issue is solved with the dual monitors now. It was the vga splitter I was using, I'm assuming that it was having power fluctuations as it was powered via the car's 12 volt. I'm going to try to macgyver a connection to the OPUS over the winter (thankfully no shows until April at the earliest).

I had the same problem as you. One day booted just fine and then the next nothing but green light and fans without POST. I had to RMA my board. I also had issues with the board booting with my Opus. I had to manually power on the board to get it to work. After my RMA all was good.

Someone from the store where i usually buy this stuff told me that the bios can be damaged due to tempratue and humidity. What do you guys say about that.
What are the temp range for this mobo ?
Is it possible that in winter ( As the guy said ) it will be a problem to use it ?
I bought a new one, D945GCLF2D.
