Has anyone watched a dvd with this board yet? I'm interested in cpu usage when doing so...

Provantage has it listed for $87.90. Price was the same after shipping.
My guess is they use the same warehouse for distribution because they show the same quantities.

So the race is on..... will I get the monitor install wrapped up before the MOBO gets here?
I still need to settle on a power supply too.
The pic shown by Provantage in the link above isn't the same board as shown in the thread below. What's going on?

The drive tray sits right over the ram, and HSFs, with about 5mm to clear.
The supplier is saying the 60W Dc-dc board in this chasis is adequate, shrug.
What we need to do I guess is measure the Dc draw an both 5v and 12 rails, seperately.
Note that the molex drive conector supplied with this board is shortish, about 100mm + 100mm to the smaller 5V connector. A sata adapter/extention cures that.

Trying to buy from CarTFT, but their website never works!!!!
Changing the dropdowns doesn't actually change anything, damn!

I work for a guy that does computer shows (sells stuff at these large geek meets) he carries this board and anew one which will accept the quad core extrem + 4 gigs of ram, same size, the atom board is just under 100$ and the quad core board w/o chip was I think 330ish US... they are both real nice systems, but offer very little in upgrades one PCI slot, the new board has built in DVI/HDMI as well as VGA as well as all the other features from the ATOM board...If I could only buy the Dual din case to put this in!!

What is the speed of these dualcore atoms? Also, is there a way to get them to use a 7" LCD for use in a double-din setup?

I'm think my next board will be the Atom2 (within 4-6 weeks) but I'll need DDR and may as well replace my 30Gb 2.5" IDE 5400rpm with a 100Gb 2.5" SATA 7200rpm. Any news on UK suppliers yet?
Cheers,
Dave

The only one is CarTFT, with about €13 delivery charge.
The only thing is the website doesn't work for me!

how is the sound, does it hit the lows on all speakers (60 hz on the front en rear) and lower 18 hz on the sub?
I mean do you need the sub to make it sound good, or is the sub a must, because the front speakers don't get low enough?

Wow! Thanks very much for that. As soon as these are available here (it seems end of September by all accounts) this will be replacing my m10000 for sure, which incidentally uses 85ish% to watch a dvd or over 100% with Centrafuse running as well...
Really looking forward to these being available
