Exclamation pci-e 1x to pci? is this real?

http://cgi.ebay.com/PCI-32Bit-To-PCI...3A1%7C294%3A50

i didnt now there were such cards, does this even work? i thought pci-e was completely different from pci

i know you can put 1x 4x or 8x into a bigger pcie like put 8x into 16x or 1x into 16x

but had no clue there were even adaptors for pci to pci-e

i just found more evidance of something like this

http://www.virtuavia.eu/shop/pci-exp...er-p29855.html

now just need something that is flex pcie 1x and you can shove your fav pci into a pcie

Mage is on a distinguished road
both show the same card to me, and no the pci in front of the E mean's it's based on the PCI bus it's just smaller with some extra lines of code to make it faster o and put in the the most useless slot on most board (I mean really next to the video card.

What I have read and heard is that pcie is completely different bus, so you need a whole chip to do the work, like you see on those, that’s why its not simple and that’s why you cant use old pci just with some riser to pcie is what I understand… otherwise it would be done and be common IMO

i could be wrong but hey the stuff thats on the net... you just have to take it with a grain of salt, even some places that put things as facts :/
