Hi to all,
this is my first post on this forum.
Excuse my english, I'm italian...
I bought a MB870 motherboard, in which I mounted a intel P4 @ 2,8 Ghz (SL6WJ), 1Gb of PC2100 DDR @ 266 MHz RAM, a Panasonic DVD-RW optic drive (model UJ-845-B) and a SATA 250GB hard disk Samsung (model HM250JI).
I'm trying to install operating system (WinXP Pro) on this machine and I found drivers to make Windows installation recognize SATA Hd. Actually the installation begins and copy all necessasry files on the HD, but at first reboot starts problems: I dont't know how to make boot from SATA HD, I tried all the options in the BIOS boot priority section, but none goes well, so when computer restart after first installation step, it hangs up, becouse it doesn't recognize any boot device other than DVD-ROM
Do you have any good suggestion ?
Thanks in advance
Andrea
