Hi guys,

Does anybody know anything about the AVerTV Hybrid STB 1080i set top box?

It has got a DC power input, DVI and VGA outputs. It should interface via DVI to my Xenrac 706TSA monitor ( http://www.xenarc.com/product/706tsa.html ). There are plenty of 12 volt set top boxes for caravans and RV's but this is the first DC powered set top box I have seen with DVI output.

I am not thinking of watching TV while driving but to watch the news etc when camping as my 4WD is set up for touring. I thought a set top box might give better reception than a USB receiver.

Any thoughts about this gadget?
