Fuse box and electrical interference?

I've found a nice 'easy to get to' cubby hole by my fuse box. It would be ideal to house my two usb hubs and external soundcard. My main concern would be electrical interference from the relays etc. Should I expect much interference within 2 or 3 inches of the fuse box?

I'm trying to avoid the pain of moving everything to find out the hard way so your experience would be most welcome.

Cheers,
Dave

You're putting your USB hubs and sound card next to a major power wire.
That increases the likelihood of noise from EMI.

Does it mean it will happen? No. It just means that it's more likely because of audio signal wires from the sound card being that close to major power wires (namely, the main feed into the fuse box).

You never found that link, did you? Why? It's hard to find in the NavBar across the top of the forums, amongst a lot of other crap.

TELL MP3CAR YOU WANT A LINK TO THE FAQ IN A MORE OBVIOUS, NOTICABLE LOCATION HERE.

Thanks for the reply.

It may seem like a silly question but can you get anything that would act as an EMI screen? Essentially, the fuse box hangs under dash and USB Hubs/soundcard will be lying on dash compartment base. This would allow me to simply lay a sheet of whatever over the devices to screen them, yes?
