Hauppauge WinTV USB TV/FM???

I just installed this WinTV on my home CPU and i was wondering if anybody else has had these problems.

Running the program that came with WinTV.
1) Really bad reception, I am using the so called antenna that came with it. Do I have to Plug an antenna into the TV and FM Spot?

2) The sound is a little off from the picture sometimes. I downloaded the lastest drivers, that didn't work. That didn't even let me into the program.

3) Sometimes when I open the program I have sound but no picture.

4) When ever the radio or TV is playing, the sound mutes itself after about 5-10 minutes for some reason.

I went on the site and looked at the FAQ and they didn't help. Any fix for these problems? Any other program that I might be able to use?

In response to #2, sound will be off due to it being a USB interface. Check all the reviews you'll find this is what most will say also.

Ehm, maybe its a faulty hardware?

PS: .. I hope the Hauppauge FM/TV USB would be supported by MediaEngine in the near future release

If I don't have a line in on my sound card what can I do to get better sound.

Can I use my car antenna as an antenna for it?

It's not just the sound, it's the fact that you are trying to put so much data through a smaller pipe than say PCI which most TV tuners for computers are based off of, or AGP if bulitin with vid card.

No matter how you configure it you will generally always have some sort of delay between audio and video

That question is really interesting since I was asking myself the same for some time, can you hook this cards to the car antenna?
