Talking Sony hu w/changer control input problem solved!

I have a sony head unit with cd changer controls. I have been looking for a input fix/solution and I came across another member's idea to use the changer audio input. That is possible only if there is a changer connected to the control port. So you play a cd in the changer and use the changer audio in as the computer input but this leaves the problem of having an almost useless changer. But I dont see any reason why you could plug the changer audio into the soundcard line in and mute it while using the computer. Even if you don't have a changer you should be able to pick one up on e-bay for around $40 instead of buying the sony input adapter for $100 . It was a good idea and it works great so far for me.
