connecting imac slot load drive

Ok, can someone tell me how to connect an imac drive to work with IDE connector on a pc.... The drive has the original imac adapter. Heres a pic:

I want to do it like that, do i just connect a 40 pin cable on the adapter then solder power like it shows?

Looking at the pics...the power is further right than the second pic shows.

Those black things are probably fuses...so no you wouldn't want to try and solder to them...just look at the right edge...

What was your source for this drive...me likey
