laptop hdd in desktop
i've got a dead compaq laptop with a good hdd
is it possible to use a laptop hdd in a desktop
the laptop hdd was a very small conector compared to an IDE is there some sort of converter avalible.

Yeah, there's plenty of adapters available. Just look for 2.5" - 3.5" adapters

there are always a ton on ebay, and there pretty cheap, ~$5.
