If you already have DC-DC to power the computer, you can tap off of that. If not, the you can put something together using the LM7812 and 7805 regulators. They will supply up to 1.5A at 12 or 5V, respectivly. Take a look at the datasheets for thos regulators and you will find some simple schematics.
