Question 10' VGA extension cable

Hey all,

I'm about done with getting all the pieces I need to build the carputer. My PC will be in the trunk so a vga extension cable is needed to run up to the dash. My question is, do I need to get a vga extension cable that has ferrites to protect it from EMI in the car? Is there strong EMI fields from the car that would weaken the vga signal? What is everyone using?
Thanks
