I eliminated my head unit, how about a 4-channel amp and preamp/equalizer?

I just bought a Jensen MP3 CD Player, (Aux in/ Front preamp out/ rear Preamp out/5V subwoofer out, 60x4)

and dammit it wont fit in my Jeep like i thought it would. So.......

I am going for the "headunitless" alternative setup now.

I think I will get a 60x4 amp and a preamp/equalizer and feed the preamp/equalizer rca signal from my onboard sound on my Epia. hopefully this will amplify the sound enough to where the amps will be gettin a decent signal and sound good. What do you think?

this preamp/equalizer http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3290

think this will work (sound good)?

BTW if anyone wants a good head unit w/ aux in and 5V preamp outs, I may sell it to fund the new amp/preamp setup. I just bought it from crutchfield for $250 (orig box, remote etc).

That is a nice eq...however I suggest this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3290
because it also has a rotary master volume control and your sub volume control of course....I am using the clarion PEQ460 (very similar) and I am very pleased with it. The clarion also an auxilary input so you can switch between two different inputs.

Hey perfect amp for me. I think I will get it when I get the payment cleared for the LCD.
