Tapping into speakers from HU?

Is there any way to tap into the speaker lines if your HU doesnt have an AUX input? For my setup I am going to buy an amp but now my friend is trying to build a carputer and is wondering if there is anyway.

You can use the tape solution if you have tape deck.
If you HU is an aftermarket brand and have CD-changer controlable, you will be able to find an Aux adapter for it.
