Post The Perfect Hard Drive?

I know the capacity ain't up to much, but Maxtor has a new drive out that's 15Gb and specifically designed to have a lot fewer parts, therefore less to go wrong. It's small, only uses a single read/write head and a single platter, therefore reducing the possibility of problems. It also has some technology to "park" the head suspended above the disk instead of on a park-zone... nice idea.

Yea mentioned this yesterday.. It looks pretty cool.. but a bit high for a 15gig drive.. Still, certainly cheaper than a 2.5" drive.
