Post Help With FV24 video

I am having problems with the tv out function on my fv24 board. It might be becouse i was anxcious to see it work and I booted it with the win xp install for my old computer. I loaded the video drivers that came on the shuttle disk. That gave me a buch of advanced display options but none refering to any kind of secondary TV out. eventually i clicked something, i forget what and it had nothing to do with TV out. It then did the 15 second changing settings thing and The TV out started working but my reselution wont go any higher than 640x480. The worst part is the TV out dosent even start working till windows is almost fully loaded and it loads the video drivers. This sucks. Is there any way to get the video out to start working from the very begining of power up? I want to be able to atleast view the bios with the Tv Out. I might be able to live with 640x480 becouse ime probablly going to need to use that res anyway, but it dosent really leave any room for expansion.

Check the video settin gin the bios... it will be an option like VGA only, TV out only, VGA + TV Out.

I use the last one - hopefully that will help you out.

Cool

I think Jeff meant to download the latest BIOS upgrade. Video drivers will have nothing to do with the BIOS settings.

I did a bios update last night. That gave me the video ouput select in the bios and i can now see the post on the tv. The problem is the resloution wont go above 800x600. i know i will never need a resolution higher than that but i makes me think something is wrong. Also i cant adjust the screen size at all to fill the whole tv. There is a slider for Horizontal/vertical size, but it only has 2 positions at min and max. Every time I set it to max it resets itself to min as soon as I exit and reenter the advanced display properties? Any help would be appreciated

tv out reslution does not go higher than
800X600. i think only ATi cards let you do that.

Does anybody out there with an fv24 board know how to expand the picture to fill the entire screen? There is a good amount of wasted space all around my screen.
