I have an exsitng WIC (Wireless Internet Card) already connected to the top slot of the Type III slot within my laptop and intend on attaching a USB 2.0 HD and an external DVD to a USB 2.0 pcmcia card which will reside in the lower slot (not puchased yet)...Now the problem is I can't locate a USB 2.0 pcmcia card that dosen't have (for better words) a large lip that extends out of the slot, one that won't fit in the lower slot without some bulge on the end keeping it from sliding in all the way...
The following are my options that have been bouncing around.
A) Find a Usb 2.0 card with a dongle.(absolutlly no luck)
B) Extend my slot with an adapter, like an extension card (the only thing I have found is a pc-card used for testing,expensive and too large for my application.)
C) Hack the laptop and build my own extension cable/card (not quite sure on how to do this tho)
Any help the above options or any new ones would be greatly appreciated...
