Thumbs up EPIA VIA M10000 Mini ITX in a 6x9 Speaker Box pic. 2 hour build time.

I made this for my friends Jetta CarPC.
Got two boxes for 20 buks and cut one up.

The char LCD still needs to be mounted.
That's a 120GB 8MB buffer 7200rpm drive in the corner.
A night dark shot will look alot better. Soon to come.

Thanks wizardPC.
Your a old school member huh.

My 3rd box in my STi is a 10" Sub Box. Built in a similiar fashion.

I like the boxes and then some plexi on top. Looks great when the LEDs and lights go on.

What and/or where did you get that speaker box? This may be perfect for what I want to do.

I second that. Is there any possible way you could write up a quick tutorial for this, nothing too indepth but just let us know what you used I would definately do something like this.

Sure, I'll try to think up of steps to make it simple as possible.
I'll look for links to boxes and the tools I used. Shouldn't be so hard. I'll post later.

OK, you need a couple of items besides the Motherboard/PS/ITPS + HD.

Speaker Boxes: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3292 $9 dollars for two + shipping cost.
Plexi glass: 11x14 inch sheet, score with knife and snap in half $2 dollars.
Cool LED fan: Any brand $5-10 dollars.

Tools Needed:
Skil saw and drill.

First the plexi needs only 1 large hole for the fan. I used a 8cm holesaw in reverse to cut the hole. Made 4 small holes so the fan could be screwed into the plexi.
Then made 4 holes in the corners for screwing into the box. Use the drill in reverse!

Next comes the box.

Using a Skil saw or similar.
Cut the top rectangular to the size you want. You can place tape along the box as a guide. Then cut the back bottom half open in the back.

Screw in the motherboard, Velcro in the HD sideways, and screw in the ITPS etc.. Wire it up to a lit switch like mine if youw ant to signal the ITPS is putting out voltage or to keep the PC from booting.

And screw in the fan and then pop the top on, and your done. Put it in the corner of your trunk with some Velcro on the bottom.

I hope that helps.

The HD is velcro'd in, and the ITPS and Motherboard are screwed into the wood.
