Apple slot load DVD player

I'm currently winning an Apple slot load DVD player on eBay. It doesn't come with a faceplate so I was wondering what you guys have done to make a face for your drive. Also, what did you do about the eject button?

Thanks in advance

Bump!

It looks like there might be an easy way to rig up an eject button. Anyone have any luck doing this?

Ah Ha! For the SR 8186 (iMac Drive), there is a contact pad in the upper right hand corner of the drive. When making the bezel for the drive, just rig up a button to depress the pad which presses the contacts together. Bingo.

You can also buy some of that fabric that is used on the opening of slot drives to keep dust out and to clean off the disc before it is inserted into the drive.
