Post Yet another input device suggestion...

Found this while surfing...Cordless Optical Mouse.

Usually a mouse is impractical in a car, but with an optical one, you can use it on your lap/knee/girlfriend's lap , then toss it in the center console (or wherever) when not in use.

Plus, this one's cordless - (RF).

i actually read a review for the logitech one battery life sounded pretty good

We have a customer who uses the Logitech cordless stuff. Batteries last about a year.

In the previous Logitech cordless mice, a set of batteries could last around 6 months or longer, depending on how much you used it.

The optical chip is a power hog so the battery life is going to be quite a bit shorter. I would say it will be around 3 to 4 months.

I'm using a Logitech cordless trackball in the car right now and it's great.
